Amidst the craze of "Vampire Diaries" which I personally love (the books, not the TV series), I came across a movie with a similar name: "Vampire Journals".
It is a 90's movie that steps aside from the main current Hollywood movies, artistic and well developed, it portrays an interesting story with an apparent low budget.
Without huge special effects it tells the story of a vampire that rejects his immortality and desires revenge from those who made him what he is.
I enjoyed watching it and following this vampire through his journey while he intends to save a musician from an equal fate.
Beautiful wardrobe and macabre settings enhance the beauty of this (previously unknown for me) movie. I believe it is based on a book whick I have not yet read, but as soon as I find out more I'll keep you posted!
I do not know that movie, but I will take your recommendation into account and watch it...
ReplyDeleteAs for the Vampire diaries, I personally did not like the books at all (this coming from a person that loves to read and always, always, always prefers books to movies or tv shows). I got really bored reading the first one, and almost didn't start watching the show... But I did, and I loved it!
To each her own, i guess, LOL.
